An abstract composition dominated by soft pastel shades and expressive black gestures. The central part is occupied by a large red shape - like a spot of light or inner heat - enclosed in an arc-shaped black trace, reminiscent of a brushstroke or print. Around it are distributed turquoise triangular fragments, as if scattering fragments or petals, giving the work a sense of movement and rhythm. Vertical black drops and strokes give a sense of rain, tears or ritualized counting of time. The smooth transitions of green, pink and beige in the background create a soft, almost meditative atmosphere, in contrast to the graphic splashes. This work seems like an abstract map of emotions - at once light but deep, elusive but clinging.
