Construction of the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi

The artist shows his historical reading of the construction of the great temple of Khoja Ahmet Yassawi in the painting, which is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Sultanate of Kazakhstan. The mausoleum was erected on the tomb of the Sufi poet Khoja Ahmet Yassawi in Turkestan. In the context of historical events, the mausoleum was rebuilt several times. The multi-figure composition is divided into several groups: in the foreground are craftsmen in brown aprons, they are carving ornaments on a wooden board, to the right is an engineer - a draftsman, in front of him on a table a large paper scroll. Further two figures of men in national clothes, of higher status, in the distant background a group of builders, are depicted in the moment of work with iron constructions.
