Nar makam

The painting from the cycle "pomegranate countries" is based on my memories of Turkey - a country with amazing culture, magnificent traditional art and love for pomegranates. In my work I presented the Turkish musical culture of musing - maqam, which in Arab traditions represents the path of spiritual self-improvement.
