The idea for the painting was the plot of Stanislav Lem's brilliant work "Solaris". In the distant future, people discover the planet Solaris, where the only inhabitant is the intelligent Ocean. An expedition of scientists is sent to the planet and they are confronted with images of their own self. - My task in this painting was to create images that intertwine with each other in a bizarre way, creating an illusion of reality. #solaris #planet #isyasmirnov #pictureinterior #picturelivingroom #abstraction
