The story of one carpet
It was not the watermelon truck that caught my eye at the bazaar, but the rug carelessly thrown on its sides. I wanted to buy it, but the seller only smiled: "Not for sale."
That moment was memorable, and I transferred it to canvas. The painting began in the summer, and the inspiration found in the museum helped me to complete it.
It is a story about beauty in the most unexpected places.
The painting depicts a cozy warehouse with bright green vegetables neatly stacked inside. A beautiful oriental rug can be seen in the foreground, which contrasts with the cold background. The light mess of a few fallen vegetables gives the picture a sense of liveliness and genuine naturalness. The composition evokes associations with the market and agriculture, immersing the viewer in a world of simplicity and abundance.
