While working on this project, I immersed myself in studying David Lynch’s vision—not as a filmmaker, but as an artist
I analyzed his paintings, drawings, and sketches, trying to grasp not the aesthetics themselves, but his way of thinking—a unique method of recreating reality through the prism of the unconscious, memory, and dreams

When I was thinking about the title, it was important to me to convey the idea of duality, since the theme of doppelgängers is central to the source material; I reflected on the twin that everyone has: the “real me” and the “social me.” This resonates with me personally, since I am currently in the midst of a deep process of self-discovery and of rejecting the many stereotypes, descriptions, and images that have already become ingrained in my outer shell
This abstract composition combines elements that play with light, evoking the context of a club, gambling, and chance. Vivid graphic forms, such as the spade symbol—one of the suits in a deck of cards—intertwine with textured backgrounds. The color palette consists mainly of cool blue hues, creating an atmosphere of mystery and tension. The work invites the viewer to reflect on luck, risk, and the uncertainty inherent in games.
