A winter landscape reduced almost to a sensation: the cold air, the silence, the soft line of the horizon, and the stillness of nature. There is no action here—only a state in which time seems to slow down. The thick texture of the paint transforms the snow, trees, and sky into a single, living surface. The turquoise-mint color palette distances the landscape from literal reality and makes it more of a memory of a place than a specific view. A dark cluster of trees serves as an anchor amidst a vast, light-filled space. “In Tranquility” is a work about a rare inner state, when there is no need to rush, explain, or change anything. It is enough simply to be present in the moment.
