"THROUGH MEMORY."
The water holds the past - the origins of life and reflects the memory of the past.
In the painting, a woman's face shines through the texture of the wall, as if emerging from the layers of memory, and next to it, a fish swims in the water - a sign of life and its fragility. It uses natural silver - historically silver was used for mirrors, it is associated with reflection, memory and the inner gaze.
In art, it is often associated with the moon, water, the past, and the feminine.
This work is about the fact that the mirror of memory is inside us: everything we have experienced remains part of our inner world in the present and connects man with nature.
"Through Memory" is the first painting in the "Mirror of Time" series.
