"Substance" is an abstract composition that explores density and light. The indigo-colored felt plane is dominated by a triangular shape felted from orange organza with shimmering gold stripes. It is punctuated by a ball of red-bordeaux-birquoise hues and a light ornament of light yellow next to it. The work plays on contrasts: heavy and light, dull felt and transparent organza, dark depths and flashes of light.
Technique: canvas, felt, felting, organza, mixed technique.
This work is a bright combination of textures and colors, where elements of fabric and fragments of other materials create an interesting three-dimensional composition. Red and blue shades are harmoniously intertwined with abstract forms, which evokes associations with cosmic motifs. The work can be interpreted as an exploration of the interaction between traditional textiles and contemporary artistic practices.
